HIS EYES (FRIDAY THE 13TH V A NEW BEGINNING, 1985)

In this fifth installment of the endless bloodbath committed by Jason Voorhees, someone has taken over the killings after Tommy Jarvis offed Jason for good. Who is the one responsible? Australian rock band Pseudo Echo sang the apty titled theme, His Eyes.

HIS EYES

sung by: Pseudo Echo

There was a man so cold, no life was in his eyes

He had a look so hard, I’d never seen him smile

I could’ve told you then, you’d heard it all before

And now you’re in suspense, you’ll have to wait for more

In all those mysteries you’re taken by surprise

You never thought to see that look was in his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

I was the only one who chanced it from the start

There was an evil sense, I swallowed to my heart

And as I took the vow a thought had come to mind

There was a winter mist, I dared not look behind

In all those mysteries you’re taken by surprise

You never thought to see that look was in his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

(INSTRUMENTAL)

In all those mysteries you’re taken by surprise

You never thought to see that look was in his eyes

It’s his eyes

It’s his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

There’s a man with no life in his eyes

His eyes

His eyes

HE'S BACK (FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI - JASON LIVES, 1986)

No less than Alice Cooper sang the theme He's Back in the sixth installment of the successful and notorious slasher series Friday The 13th. Subtitled Jason Lives, this is the part where Jason comes back from the grave ala Frankenstein's monster and goes on his usual killing spree. The best in the whole F13 series in my book, peppered with some humour while maintaining the gore and suspense that is expected in the series.

HE’S BACK (THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK)

Alice Cooper

You’re with your baby

And you’re parked alone

On a summer night

You’re deep in love

But you’re deeper in the woods

You think you’re doin’ alright

Did you hear that voice

Did you see that face

Or was it just a dream

This can’t be real

That only happens, babe

On the movie screen

Oh, but he’s back

He’s the man behind the mask

And he’s out of control

He’s back

The man behind the mask

And he crawled out of his hole

You’re swimmin’ with your girl

Out on lovers’ lake

And the wind blows cold

It chills your bones

But you’re still on the make

That’s a bad mistake

But the moon was full

And you had a chance

To be all alone

But you’re not alone

This is your last dance

And your last romance

Yeah, ‘cause he’s back

He’s the man behind the mask

And he’s out of control

He’s back

The man behind the mask

And he crawled out of his hole

(INSTRUMENTAL)

Oh, if you see him comin’

Get away if you can

Just keep on runnin’

Run as fast as you can

He’s a dangerous, dangerous man

And he’s out tonight

And he’s watchin’ you

And he knows your house

No, don’t turn out the lights

Yeah, 'cause he’s back

He’s the man behind the mask

And he’s out of control

He’s back

The man behind the mask

And he’s after your soul

He’s back

He’s the man behind the mask

And he’s out of control

He’s back

The man behind the mask

And he’s after your soul

He’s back

He’s the man behind the mask

And he’s out of control

He’s back

The man behind the mask

And he’s after your soul
