YOURS FOREVER (A PERFECT STORM, 2000)

“I always find the fish. Always!” – Captain Billy Tyne

Based on true events that was made into a bestseller. A Perfect Storm is the story of six fishermen from Gloucester, Massachusetts on sail the sword-fishing boat named Andrea Gail. Their seemingly safe fishing turns deadly when they encounter a freak storm. Suspenseful and dramatic at the same time, John Mellencamp sung the melodic Yours Forever at the end of the movie.

YOURS FOREVER
sung by: John Mellencamp

Here we are in the grays of winter

Here we are just me and you
Hold my hand
Let's face tomorrow
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you

This precious time
We've only borrowed
The autumn winds have blown on through
A quiet thought will tell our story
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you

So here's some wings
They're yours forever
And here's some dreams that will come true
Take those tears to wash your sorrow
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you
