Whitney Houston sung one of her best songs in her first lead role in the movie The Bodyguard. She plays a pop superstar terrorized by a death threat. In comes former Secret Service agent Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner) hired to protect her. The movie’s soundtrack topped the charts more than any other movie themes combined. The song was nominated at the Oscars along with the other song in the movie, I Have Nothing for best original song and at the Grammys for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or for Television.
