LOVE LIVES ON (HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS, 1987)

In Harry And The Hendersons, John Lithgow leads the cast as the head of the Henderson family who stumbled upon a ferocious looking Bigfoot (named Harry!) while going back on vacation. The feared giantvat first turns out to be one big friendly beast and becomes part of their household. A not to be missed family movie, hilarious yet heartwarming. Joe Cocker sang one of the most heartfelt theme in the '80s, Love Lives On. The ending will surely induced tears to the viewers.

LOVE LIVES ON
sung by: Joe Cocker

You touched my life

And turned my heart around

Seems when I found you

It was me I really found

You opened my eyes

And now my soul can see

Our moment may be over

But you're still here with me

'Cause love lives on

Beyond goodbye

The truth of us

Will never die

Our spirits will shine

Long after we're gone

And so our love lives on

There was so much

I didn't understand

And then you brought me here

Far from where

It all began

The change you made

In my life will never end

I look across the distance

I'll know I have a friend

'Cause love lives on

Beyond goodbye

The truth of us

Will never die

Our spirits will shine

Long after we're gone

And so our love lives on

I was travellin' in the dark

Never sure of what to do

I didn't know that I was lost

I found myself in you

Play something

(INSTRUMENTAL)

Love lives on

Beyond goodbye

The truth of us

Will never die

Our spirit will shine

Long after we're gone

And so our love lives on

And on

And so our love lives on

LET'S GET TOGETHER (THE PARENT TRAP, 1961)

The Parent Trap is one of Disney's well-made family film in the early '60s. Hayley Mills stars as identical twins who plan to reunite their estranged parents. Let's Get Together is perhaps the most famous song in the film. A 1998 remake was made also by Disney.

LET'S GET TOGETHER
sung by: Hayley Mills

Let's get together, yeah yeah yeah
Why don't you and I combine?
Let's get together, what do you say?
We can have a swinging time
We'd be a crazy team
Why don't we make a scene?
Together oh, oh, oh, oh

Let's get together, yeah yeah yeah
Think of all that we could share
Let's get together, everyday
Every way and everywhere
And though we haven't got a lot
We could be sharing all we've got
Together

Oh! I really think you're swell
Uh huh! We really ring the bell
Oo wee! And if you stick with me
Nothing could be greater, say hey alligator

Let's get together, yeah yeah yeah
Two is twice as nice as one
Let's get together, right away
We'll be having twice the fun
And you can always count on me
A gruesome twosome we will be
Together, yeah yeah yeah

L O V E (THE PARENT TRAP, 1998)

L O V E is one of Nat King Cole's classic song and was often heard in romance-comedy-themed flicks. In the 1998 remake of the family classic, The Parent Trap used the famous song as heard during the opening credits.

L O V E
sung by: Nat King Cole

L is for the way you look at me

O is for the only one I see

V is very, very extraordinary

E is even more than anyone that you adore can

Love is all that I can give to you

Love is more than just a game for two

Two in love can make it

Take my heart and please don’t break it

Love was made for me and you
