"You know what's wrong with you, Miss Whoever-you-are? You're chicken, you've got no guts. You're afraid to stick out your chin and say, "Okay, life's a fact, people do fall in love, people do belong to each other, because that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness." - Paul Varjak
One of my favorite themes comes from the movie Breakfast At Tiffany's (1961). The song Moon River was sung by Ms. Audrey Hepburn herself during one of the scenes in the movie wherein she was at the window guitaring the now timeless tune. Great chemistry between the charming Hepburn and the dashing George Peppard adds to the film's charm. It's a class act.
MOON RIVER
sung by: Audrey Hepburn
Moon river, wider than a mile
I’m crossing you in style, some day
On dream maker, you heartbreaker
Wherever you’re goin’, I’m goin’ your way
I’m crossing you in style, some day
On dream maker, you heartbreaker
Wherever you’re goin’, I’m goin’ your way
Two drifters, off to see the world
There’s such a lot of world to see
We’re after the same rainbows end
Waitin’ ‘round the bend
My huckleberry friend
Moon river and me
Moon river, wider than a mile
I’m crossing you in style, some day
Two drifters, off to see the world
There’s such a lot of world to see
We’re after the same rainbows end
Waitin’ ‘round the bend
My huckleberry friend
Moon river and me
Moon river and me
